Emma Pauline Paoletti

Emma Pauline “Polly” Paoletti made her transition on August 19, 2016. Born April 11, 1924, she was preceded in death by her parents, Frank “Nick” and Francis “Fan” (Zipf) Nicklaus, and husband Louis J. Paoletti. She is survived by children Sandra (Patrick) Dembski, Richard (Leslie) Paoletti, James Paoletti, and Paul Paoletti; grandchildren Nick Dembski, Janet (Matt) Bauer, Kevin Dembski, and Andrea Paoletti; and great-grandsons Ethan and Zach Bauer.

Polly was a loving, giving person, who valued her activities with Sigma Phi Gamma International Sorority, OSU Mothers Group S, UA Senior Center, Riverside Hospital, UA Library, The Tremont Pool Ladies, and choir, cafeteria, bowling, religious education and RICC at Saint Agatha and puzzles from mysteries to jigsaws to crosswords. She loved baseball and OSU football, and did lovely needlework, including many hats knitted for area NICUs

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at Saint Agatha Catholic Church, 1860 Northam Road on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at 11AM where friends may call one hour prior. Father Daniel Ochs will officiate with burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, Central Ohio Chapter, 1379 Dublin Road, Columbus 43215 or Clair Bridge Memory Unit, 7420 Muirfield Drive. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST.
