Era Maxine Chilcote, age 80 of Gahanna, passed away Tuesday, December 11, 2012. Era grew up in Gnadenhutten, Ohio, daughter of the late Oscar and Ethel Grosenbacher. Era retired from The Limited after 25 years of service. She was a loving and caring woman who had a great sense of humor. She enjoyed sewing, reading, and collected dolls. She will be greatly missed by her husband of 52 years, Thomas Chilcote; children, Tom Chilcote, Jr., L. Douglas (Deb) Chilcote, Michelle (Jerry Miller) Chilcote, and Kristi (Joe) Callison; grandchildren, Jeannette (Dustin) Clark and Nick Chilcote; great granddaughter, Taylor Marie Clark; siblings, Eva (Bob) Shaffer, Lois Ellison, Carl (Neva) Grosenbacher, Betty McGlashan, Ivan Grosenbacher; and many other extended family members and dear friends.
