Ethel M. Davis

Ethel M. Davis, age 91 of Circleville, died Monday, October 12, 2009 at BergerHospital. She was born July 22, 1918 in South Shore, KY, daughter of the late Charles and Samantha (Kegley) Binion. Ethel was a longtime member of CommunityUnitedMethodistChurch. She loved time spent with her family and friends and enjoyed cooking.

She is preceded in death by her husband Richard Brooks Davis; her parents; brothers Raleigh, William, Adleigh and Arleigh; sisters Grace, Lucy and Lacy. She is survived by her children Richard Brooks (Paula) Davis Jr. of Canal Winchester and Patricia Ann (Michael) Webb of Circleville; grandchildren Sarah Elizabeth Davis and Sean Michael Webb; sister Eva May of Springfield; many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m.Thursday, October 15, 2009 in the chapel of the Defenbaugh-Wise-Schoedinger Funeral Home, 151 E. Main St., with the Rev. Barry Burns officiating. Interment to follow at ForestCemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
