Eugene Clifford Pratt

Eugene Clifford Pratt (“Pappy”), 84, of Columbus, OH, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 7, 2014, at Mt. Carmel East hospital. Pappy was born in Logan, OH on May 16, 1930. He was preceded in death by his wife Eloise; parents Florence and Otis; 7 brothers; and 1 sister. Pappy is survived by son Mark (Kayla); daughter Sue (Jim) Conway; brother Don (Jane) Pratt of Las Vegas; 9 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and friends. Pappy served in the army and retried from Lennox Furnace Company. He was actively involved at Tree of Life Christian Schools, faithfully cheering on the sidelines at the high school sporting events. He became the high school grandpa and brought much laughter and encouragement to the students with his caring heart and corny jokes. Visitation will be held Tuesday 4-7pm at Schoedinger Worthington Chapel, 6699 North High Street, Worthington, OH 43085, where his funeral service will follow at 7pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made sent to Tree of Life Christian Schools, Attn: Annual Fund, 935 Northridge Rd. Columbus, OH 43224.
