Fern Dorothy Conte

Fern D. Conte, age 92, departed our life, but never our hearts on Friday, Sept 11, 2015. She was born August 23, 1923 in Sarver, PA. Most of her life she resided and raised a family in Garfield Heights and Walton Hills, OH.

Fern had a spice for life and loved to smile. She was a business owner. Fern also had a love for bowling, shopping, jewelry, cats, deer and her home. Mostly, she was passionate for her children and her grandchildren.

Fern is survived by three children, Linda (Thomas) Drake, Harry (Catherine) Conte, and Fern-Tweedy (Michael) Miele. A cherished Grandmother of Thomas & Lance Drake; Andrew, Michael, Christopher, & Anthony Conte; Nicolas & Mira Miele. Proud Great Grandmother of Freddie Drake.

Also survived by her nieces, Mary Ann (Pajer ) Spicher, Judy(Pajer ) Hraba; and nephews, John and Richard Pajer and their families; and Devoted Friends, Jan Mayer and Lynn Galicki.

Visitation will be held at Schoedinger Funeral Home, 6699 High St, Columbus, OH 43085 Wednesday Sept 16, 2015, from 2-4PM and 6-8PM. Thursday, Sept 17, 2015 there will be a 9:30AM, Mass of Christian Burial at St John Neumann Church, 9633 OH-37, in Sunbury, OH 43074. Burial Services will be held at All Saints Cemetery, 480 Highland Rd, Northfield, OH 44067 at 2:30PM.
