Florin Don Treece

Florin Don Treece M.D., age 89, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 9, 2021, surrounded by his family. Florin was born in Bloomdale, Ohio, on March 3, 1932, to the late Florin Dale and Una Neiswander Treece. Also preceding in death was his sister, Ellen Karr, and brother Robert Treece. Dad was known for his kindness and gentle, subtle sense of humor. He practiced as an anesthesiologist at Riverside Hospital for more than 30 years, and was highly respected. A graduate of The Ohio State University. He loved (very loudly) to cheer on the Buckeyes. He fought an uncontrollable slice on the golf course but could putt the lights out. He loved his family dearly, and we all adored him. Florin will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 66 years, Dorothy (Orr) Treece; sons David (Louise) Treece and Timothy (Jill) Treece; daughter Elizabeth (Rick) Hoover; grandchildren Michael, Kristen, Lizzy, Trey, Lauren, Tyler, Dylan, Luke, Elliot, Everett, and Alexandra; and brother Charles Treece.
