

Forrest L. Davis, age 90, of Dublin, died peacefully on March 19, 2010, at The Forum, Columbus, Ohio. He was born on December 8, 1919 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Lena M. Davis and Ralph V. Davis. Preceded in death by his brother, Harold E. Davis; son, Thomas G. Davis; and grandson, John H. Warner, III. Survived by his loving wife of almost 70 years, Patricia A. Davis; children, Cheryl (Charles) Wilson, and Nevalee (Paul); grandchildren, Monica (David) Fasanelli, Stephanie Warner, Samantha Warner, Kelli Davis, Collin Davis, Andrew O’Neill, Aaron O’Neill, and Allie O’Neill; and five great-grandchildren. Forrest was a 65 year member of Capital City Lodge # 656 F. & A.M., where he achieved the level of 32nd degree, and member of the Shrine and Scottish Rite. He was retired from the Penn Central Railroad, and an avid golfer, playing at numerous courses, as well as in Pompano Beach, Florida, where he and Patricia had their winter home, and at York Temple Country Club, where he had been a member for more than 50 years. Forrest and his brother, known as the “Davis brothers”, played golf together yearly in tournaments. He attended both American and National League games at every ballpark across the country and loved to talk about his passion for baseball and his years on the railroad. A memorial service will be held 4:30pm on Monday, March 22, 2010 at SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 N. High St. (Just South of I-270), Columbus, Ohio. Masonic service by Capital City Lodge.
