Francis E. "Mitch" Mitchell, born April 6, 1922, died June 3, 2015 at the age of 93. A devoted husband of over 73 years, Mitch is survived by beloved wife, Nancy; son-in-law, Robert Biles and grandchildren, Lauren, Colin and Ryan (Erin). He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, and daughter, Karen. A WWII veteran and Sparta high school graduate. Mitch loved to tell stories and watch the Buckeyes with family and friends. A Graveside service will be held at Union Cemetery at 9:30 a.m., Saturday, June 6, 2015. The family would like to thank the staffs of Abbington of Arlington assisted living and Kobacker House for their care. Family has entrusted SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL with final arrangements.
