

A Funeral Service for Fred Dennis of Marne will be held Wednesday February 8, 2012 at 10:00 AM at the Criss-Schoedinger Funeral Home with Rev. John Costlow officiating. Interment will be at Hanover Cemetery.
Fred was born in on October 29, 1926 to the late Walter E and Ida Mae (Rector) Dennis. He died Friday February 3, 2012 at the Newark Health Care Center. He was 85.
Fred is preceded in death by his wife Virginia, son John, and brothers Walter and James Dennis. He is survived by his son Eddy (Darlene) daughter Susie Dennis, six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren with a seventh on the way. Fred was a Veteran of the US Army during WWII, retired from the B&O Railroad as a caller, was a member of the Madison Grange, Madison Vol Fire Dept., and a 60 year member of the Hanover Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed fishing with his wife and friends and loved bluegrass music.
