

Gary Lee Fast Sr., 79, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away April 22, 2021. He was born on September 28, 1941. He is the son of the late David and Clara Bell Fast (Immel), stepmom Hellen and stepdad Jim Bishop.
He is preceded in death by his first wife Rosemary Fast; brother, Baby Fast; stepbrother, Larry Wilson.
He is survived by his wife, Debera Fast; daughters, Kimberlee Fast, Robin Lamb (John Davenport); son, Gary Fast Jr. (Shirly Adams); stepdaughter, Tiffany Morris; stepson, Travis Morris (Amanda); Brothers, David Fast (Donna), Ernie (Porky) Fast (Bea); stepsisters, Helen Zirkles, Denise Wilson Shope; Grandchildren, Robert Fast, Joshua Lamb (Raelyn Clark), Kristina Lamb, Audrey Fast, Josephine Morris, Eleanor Morris; Great grandchildren, Alexis Lamb, Brooklynn Lamb, twins on the way, nephews, nieces, cousins and extended family and friends.
He proudly served in the US Army. Gary had many interest and jobs, Columbus Auto Parts, Columbus Public Schools Transportation, Columbus Crew (usher), Ohio State University (Football stadium usher), 5th Ave Auto Sales (Auctioneer), American Legion (past commander and district Commander), sons of Legion, 40/8, Civil Defense, Columbus Bowlers Association, volunteer fire fighter in Mifflin Township. Gary loved to bowl and even more with his son.
Gary's family will receive friends on Friday, April 30, 2021 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at SCHOEDINGER NORTH, 5554 Karl Road. There will be a funeral service held on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at 10am. Interment at Riverside Cemetery. Travis Morris to officiate. Guests are respectfully asked to wear a mask and attendance will be monitored to ensure safety for everyone attending. Gary's family ask that you join them at the American Legion Post 144, 3253 South High Street, Columbus, to celebrate and honor Gary's life. Please bring a dish if you can.
