Gary Richard Wertz

He is survived by his parents, Wendy (Dave) Justice and Rick (Karen) Wertz; sisters, Valeria Ashcraft, and Melissa Benjamin; brothers, Clay Justice, and Stephen Ferrante; daughters, Amy (Marcel) Wertz, and Stephanie Wertz; six grandchildren; close friends, Dave, Theresa, Charlie, Bill, Larry, Joe, Ryan and many more; his dog Patches.

Gary was a man of many talents and amazing work ethic. He could build or fix anything. He was a machinist for almost his whole life. Anyone who needed help, Gary would be there. He was a great friend and loved four wheeling with his buddies and loved to rock out. He was smart, funny, and had a great sense of humor. He loved his kids and grandkids so much. Although he had a tough exterior, he was soft on the inside.

Gary's family will receive friends on Sunday, May 16, 2021 at SCHOEDINGER NORTH, 5554 Karl Road, from 12-3pm. Officiant Pastor John Girard. A memorial service will follow at 3pm. Guests are respectfully asked to wear a mask and attendance will be monitored to ensure safety for everyone attending.
