George G. Jackson

Preceded in death by his mother, Ocie; brother, Gary Jackson; sister, Barb McCue; and a precious baby grandson, Christopher George Jackson. George is survived by his wife of 46 years, Kayrn; sons, Brian (Angie) Jackson and Mike Jackson; daughter, Angela (Brian) Rohm; seven grandchildren, Jessica, Jake, Alex, Brady, Cole, Alyssa, and Kaylee; sisters, Doris Jackson, Sandra (Roy) Duke, and Lil (Bill) Beck; many nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law, Linda Grimmett, Pat Laucius, Sherie Conkle, and Peg Meier; special friend, Jack (Kitty Cat); and many loyal and loving friends.

George served in the U.S. Army from 1960-1963 stationed in Berlin, Germany. He retired from Columbus Coated Fabrics and was a member of the VFW Post # 3441.

George loved to fish, work in his yard, woodworking, the Cleveland Browns, and most of all, spending time with his grandchildren. George was always generous with his love and support for family and friends. His sense of humor will be greatly missed always.

Family will receive friends Monday, May 13, 2013 from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12 Noon at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd. (at Beecher Rd.), Gahanna, OH. Private interment will be held at a later date.
