George Union

George is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Dolores Union; son Mike Union; son Kevin Union, and his children with Christine, Victoria and Brandi. George was devoted to his family, with amazing abilities to cook and to tell a story. His diligent work in the candy business was instrumental in building brands such as Willy Wonka, Tic Tac, and many others. In his free time, he would play poker, go golfing, and was a huge Ohio State Buckeyes Football fan. Mostly, he enjoyed spending time with his family, including his dog Bella, who was a dear companion. George was a comforting and calming presence, with a huge heart. He will be missed deeply. Family will receive friends, June 15th, 2021 from 4PM-6PM at SCHOEDINGER EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5360 E Livingston, Columbus, OH 43232.
