Gerald L. “Jerry” Anderson, age 78, of Columbus, Ohio passed away October 19, 2011 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. He was a U.S. Army Veteran having served as an MP during the Korean War. He retired from a career in the grocery and hardware stores retail industry. Jerry was preceded in death by his wife, Imogene Anderson; his parents, Robert H. and Dolly L. (Murphy) Anderson and his brother, Carl B. Anderson. He is survived by his cousins, Donald Pettit and Reva Holbrook of Waverly and his sister-in-law, Ruth Anderson of Martha’s Vineyard. Funeral Services will take place at 4pm Sunday, October 23, 2011 at Schoedinger North Chapel, 5554 Karl Rd., Columbus, OH 43229 with visitation from 3-4pm.
