Gerald Dean "Jerry" Swank, age 74, passed away Wednesday, September 6, 2017. He was born August 10, 1943 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Martin and Esther (Wears) Swank. Jerry was an Army veteran. He retired from University Corporation and was a current designated bus driver for R.C. Transportation. Member of Moose Lodge 2236 and V.F.W Post 4931. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Sandra Swank and brother, Ronald Swank. Survived by wife, Vickie Vanorder-Swank; son, Brian Swank; grandson, Shawn "Tim" (Brittnee) Bettis; and many other family members and friends. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at the SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY CHAPEL, 3920 Broadway, Grove City where funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday.
