Gladys Allen Haydu

Gladys Haydu, 79, of Columbus, died Sunday, September 2, 2018. She was born October 29, 1938 in Belpre, Ohio to Ralph and Violet Reynolds, who preceded her in death. Gladys is survived by her loving husband, Jim Haydu; son Thomas Allen; Daughters Elizabeth Hillis and Stephanie Michelle (Tim) Roden; brothers Ralph, David, Michael, and Gerard Reynolds; sisters Dorthy (William) Burchett, Mary Fagello; granddaughters, Destiney Ault-Burton and Katie Allen; grandson, Masonlee Burton; and many other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. In addition to her parents, Gladys is also preceded in death by her brothers, Raymond and Ronald Reynolds; and husband, Lee Allen. Gladys was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and will be greatly missed. A Funeral Service will be held at 1 PM Friday, September 7, 2018 at the SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Road, where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 12-1PM. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made out to The James Foundation Board, 660 Ackerman Rd, 6th Floor, P.O. Box 183112 or the OhioHealth Foundation, 180 E. Broad St., 31st Floor, for the Kobacker House Hospice.
