Glenn E. DeMott

He was a 1972 graduate of Upper Arlington H.S. Glen received his B.S. from Wittenberg University and his Masters from Oregon State. While living in Oregon, Glenn was the Captain of a charter boat in Depoe Bay for many years.

Upon his return to Columbus, Glenn married Lori Klerekoper and made his career in pharmaceutical sales.

Glenn attended UALC where he was very active in the award winning Community Garden Program. Glenn was an avid sportsman, enjoying hunting, fishing, and training dogs. He was a member of the Ohio Valley Springer Spaniel Club.

Glen was a passionate, kind, generous, and patient man. He kept dear to his heart time spent with his wife, daughter, and family and will be dearly missed by them.

Glenn will be missed by his loving wife of 19 years Lori; daughter, Megan DeMott; brothers, William (Peg) DeMott, John (Hazel) DeMott, Peter (Patty) DeMott, and Paul (Janet) DeMott; many nieces and nephews; and father and mother-in-law, Tod and Margo Klerekoper.

Family will receive friends Sunday, March 3, 2013 from 2-5 p.m. at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Rd., Columbus, OH. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, March 4, 2013 at Upper Arlington Lutheran Church, 2300 Lytham Rd., Columbus, Reverends Paul T. Ulring and Buff Delcamp officiating.
