Harold Cooper

Harold David Cooper, age 77, of New Albany, Ohio, went to be with The Lord, August 23, 2016. Born January 19, 1939 to parents Ellsworth and Beulah Cooper in Portsmouth, Ohio. He was a member of the Lions Club, board member of the New Albany Arts Counsel, and a coach for the Gahanna Little League Football. Harold enjoyed painting and teaching art Classes. Harold attended art classes in New York to further study portrait painting. Harold and his wife have enjoyed spending the winters at their house in Naples Florida.

Harold is preceded in death by his parents, Ellsworth and Beulah Cooper; and siblings, Jimmy, Kenny, Paul, Juanita, and Betty.

Harold is survived by loving wife of 59 years Faye Cooper; sons, Kevin (Dr. Tess Losey) Cooper and Keith Cooper; grandchildren, Joshua, Dominic (Midshipman), Natalie, Kalynn, Preston, and Eijah Losey; loving friend, Lisa Cooper; siblings, Phyllis Gray and Shirley Pelfrey; and numerous loving relatives, neighbors, and friends.

Family will receive friends Friday August 26, 2016 from 5-7pm and Saturday August 27, 2016 from 9-10am at the Schoedinger Northeast Chapel, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd. Gahanna, Ohio 43230, where a funeral service will be held at 10am Saturday. Interment Maple Wood Cemetery.
