Harry Scott Allen

Harry Scott Allen, 60, of Columbus, died Saturday, September 3, 2016. He was born December 7, 1955 in Columbus to the late Edward and Doris (McDaniel) Allen. He was a 1973 graduate of Northland High School and a longtime member of Salem Baptist Church. He was always happy, smiling and joking. He enjoyed reading any newspaper and walking around Devonshire. He loved DC Comics, White Castle and mustard sandwiches. He is survived by 2 sisters Carol (Thomas) Melsop and Donna Richards, niece Kirsten (Andy) Dunn and nephews Clayton (Jacquelyn) Engle II and River and Corey Richards, great nieces Adelaide Engle and Avalie Dunn. Family will receive friends Wednesday, September 7, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Rd. where a funeral service will be held Thursday, September 8, 2016 at 10 AM. Graveside service will follow at 12 PM at Milledgeville Cemetery.
