Harvey Bruce Weston

Harvey was born 15 October 1931, in New York City, to Harold Edward Weston, 1900-1971, of Nottingham, England and Anne Weston (nee Brumpton) of Sheffield, England, 1905-1980.

He spent his early years in both New York City and Miami, Florida, before joining the Air Force training at Keesler Air Force Base, Biloxi, MS., and serving at Otis Air Force Base, Cape Cod, MA.

A passion for good design guided him in both his career and interests. He started his career at Katzman Associates and went on to found his own interior architecture firm, Harvey Weston Associates, designing many notable retail interiors such as North Star Mall, San Antonio, TX, Alexander's Department Stores, 59th Street, NYC, Au Printempts, Walden Books and Macy's 34th Street in addition to many prominent, private residences.

He was an avid photographer, and artist who loved rendering military aircraft.

He loved ocean swimming, sailing, exploring the world and was a passionate animal lover, especially dogs.

He is survived by Arline (nee Wagner) Weston, his wife and love of 70 years; his daughters, Barbara Weston-Robinson, and Allison Meslow; his son, Robert Kennedy, three grandchildren: Alice Weston Robinson, Jack, and Katherine Meslow, whom he loved and was immensely proud, son in-laws Andrew Meslow and David Robinson and his half-sister, Patricia Bassak.

Preceded in death by his brother, Roger Brian Weston.

A Memorial Service planned for June 2022, in Ardsley, NY.
