Henry Walker

Henry Walker, age 92 of Columbus, passed away Wednesday October 7, 2020. Henry was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio son of the late George and Anna (née Franacz) Woo. Also proceeded in death by his beloved wife Mildred (née Kaminski). Siblings Margaret Merullo, Edward, George, Charles, and Frank Toy and Stanley and Albert Woo. A Korean War veteran, Henry retired in 1994 from Columbus Radiology where he worked as their Business Manager. He was a member of Hickory Hills Golf Club, VFW Whitehall Post, and the Radiology Business Managers Association. Henry was a man dedicated to his family and will be be greatly missed by his loving children Constance Walker and Rick (Beth) Walker, grandchildren, Jake (Irie) Brandenburg and Brandon Walker; many nieces, nephews and dear friends. An avid gardener, golfer, reader and dancer, he stayed busy up until the end. Family will receive friends from 11 A.M. until 1 P.M. Monday, October 12, 2020 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Rd., where a funeral service will be held at 1 P.M. Monday. Guests are respectfully required to wear mask and attendance will be monitored to ensure the safety of all who attend. Graveside services will be held at 10 A.M. Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 5600 E. Broad St. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to OhioHealth Hospice, 3430 OhioHealth Parkway, Columbus Ohio 43202.
