Herman H. Will passed away on Sunday, November 15. Herm was born in Evansville, Indiana on March 18th, 1922, the youngest of 9 children. He was the last remaining sibling in an extraordinarily fine group that included his brothers Al, Ray, Ed, Len, and Bob, and sisters Teen, Bertie, and Fronnie. On January 17, 2016, his wife Peg passed away. His daughter-in-law Linda Will also preceded him in death. He is survived by his sons Tom of Westerville, Roch (Carol) of Mebane NC, and Leslie (Rich) King of Louisville, Kentucky. His grandchildren are Andy and Dan Will, Anna Will, and Rich, Laura, Emma, John, Mary, and Tina King. After attending St. Louis University, and Dennison, he graduated from Evansville College and served as an officer in the Marine Corps. Peg and Herm moved to Columbus in 1952 where Herm entered the restaurant business near the OSU campus. Among his establishments were the North Heidelberg and The Venetian. Herm had a great deal of respect and admiration for his many employees and frequently spoke fondly of them. After retiring, he spent nearly 20 years "playing in the dirt" running a small nursery where he sold perennials. We will have a single memorial service for Herm and Peg at St. Timothy Catholic Church, 1088 Thomas Ln. Columbus OH 43220. There will be a visitation at 10:15 on Saturday, January 30th with a Mass at 11:00. Lunch will follow. Arrangements entrusted to SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 North High Street.
