Homer Eugene Saylor, age 72, passed away on Friday, October 30, 2009 at his home. Born in East Alton, IL to the late Nettie Gannon and John Sailings. Also preceded in death by 1 brother and 1 sister. Survived by wife, Toni; children, Gregory, Chris (Jennifer), Butch, and Judy (Ralph) Council; 9 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and best friend, Jim Bickel. Funeral service will be held 1:00 pm Friday, November 6, 2009 at Schoedinger East Chapel, 5360 E. Livingston Ave., where the family will receive friends 12-1 pm. Interment to follow at Glen Rest Memorial Estate.
