Dear Everett’s Family,
Just writing to let you all know what a special man Jack was to everyone whose lives he touched.
I was visiting a girlfriend and I saw a jar of Jack’s honey in her refrig.  We both reminisced about Jack and his famous Hoosier Honey.
Missing him as well as many others who knew him from the Dublin Senior group.
Wanda, Patty and I still mourn his passing.

Dear Charlene and family,
I just found out today, June 7, 2022, that my dear friend, Jack passed last October.   He had called to tell me that he had cancer.  
I enjoyed getting to know Jack through his daily visits upstairs at the Dublin Recreation Center waiting for Charlene to finish up her workouts.  We used to shoot the breeze about his family, beekeeping, life in Indiana, and his early life growing up in Indiana.
Our daughter and family live in Goshen, Indiana, so I would talk about my husband and I driving through Turtle Town/Churobusko, Wolf Lake, and Kimmel, Indiana.
He was a very kind man who loved his wife, family, and God.
He told me that I was his first honey customer!  I would buy lots of boxes of his delicious honey and gift them to family and friends.  
I called a few times and left messages, but was unaware that he had passed.  
I am so very sad that I will never talk to him again.  He made me laugh with his stories and in turn, I made him laugh about my family adventures with my husband, John, our two adult children, and our two grandsons, Harrison and Sawyer who both were born in Elkhart, Indiana in 2018 and 2020.  Hoosiers forever! 
Jack was a wonderful Dad, husband, grandpa, and friend to all.
May he rest in the peace of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
I will definitely go over to the Dublin Cemetery to visit his grave and say some prayers in thanksgiving for being considered a friend of his.  You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Jack was a regular swimmer with us.  He always had a smile on his face and always had a warm greeting for everyone.  He had a great interest in what I was doing as a boy scout volunteer.  He loved to talk about his bees and the honey they produced.   We will miss his friendly smile and warm personality.

I was so privileged to get to know Jack in recent years.  We really got acquainted when I was visiting his Dad, Hal, as his health declined and he became more homebound.  Our paths crossed many times, and they were always family times.  I will never forget Hal's last birthday party!  I will miss the way Jack kept me supplied with great honey.  I guess that was his way of paying me back for caring for Hal.  You slipped away from us, Jack, but we will always remember you were here.  Prayers of comfort for Charlene and the family.  Thanks for always getting the phone to Jack for our short visits over the last few months.
