

Jack D. Hall, age 73, passed away peacefully, Sunday, September 18, 2011 at home surrounded by his wife, family and friends after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on December 10, 1937 to the late David and Minnie Crockett. Jack is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and served for many years in photo intelligence. He spent his career in the manufacturing of activated carbon products for almost 40 years; traveling the world. He retired from Barnebey and Sutcliffe in Columbus, OH. He was a member of the Philippine Seniors of Central Ohio as well as the Philippine American Society of Central Ohio. Jack had many interests in life; he loved rebuilding engines, fast cars, gardening, traveling and going to casinos. Above all else Jack loved his family. He was a caring and loving man, whose sense of humor and generosity will be missed by all who knew him. He is preceded in death by his brother, John D. Hall. He is survived by his loving wife and soul mate of 25 years, Emilyn “Miyen”; son, Spencer (Chris) Hall; grandsons, Alex and Paul; and sister, Thelma “Micki” Beasley; half sister, Dorothy Wells; and many nieces and nephews; and special buddy, “Flopper.” Friends may call 4-8 pm, Tuesday, September 20, 2011; with a prayer service beginning at 7:00 pm at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL1051 E.
