Jacqueline M. Lyons

Carmel East Hospital. Jackie resided at Emeritus at Chestnut Hill in

Gahanna, Ohio most recently.

She was born on April 23,1925, in Shamokin, Pa to John and Ruby

(Golden) Koval. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother

Christopher. Her beloved husband of 43 years, Robert E Lyons Jr,

passed away in 1990. She is survived by her children, Robert (Kathi)

Lyons lll, Mary (Dale) Serian, Timothy (Sue) Lyons, Ellen (Dennis)

Murphy; grandchildren, Ron Holloway, Jennifer York, Stephanie

Gram, Mary Herron, Caitlin Murphy; as well as many great grandchildren

and extended family.

Jackie was the epitome of perseverance and known for her quick wit and

intellect. She had a passion for family gatherings and took great

pleasure in watching her grandchildren grow up and listening to their

adventures. She enjoyed gardening, the New York Times crossword

puzzles, playing games on her iPad, playing cards, watching the

various "Housewife's Of Any City" TV shows, painting with water colors

and she always appreciated her Natty Light and a good glass of wine.

A private family service will be held with interment at St Joseph's

Cemetery. Those wishing to remember Jackie may kindly make donations

to Mount Carmel Hospice. The family would like to thank Mount Carmel

Hospice and Emeritus at Chestnut Hill for the loving care provided to

their beloved mother and grandmother.
