James Franklin Kelch passed away Saturday, December 17, 2011 in Marysville at the age of 88. Jim was a WWII Veteran who was a Sergeant in the Marines. He was also proud to serve in both the Pacific and in Europe during the war. Upon his return, Jim worked for NCR in Dayton, OH and as a V.P. for R.G. Dunn Cigar Co. in Lima, OH. He retired as a stock broker from McDonald and Co. in Lima. Jim was an avid golfer and was the 1958 club champion at the NCR Country Club in Dayton. Jim also treasured spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Marjorie “Marge” M. Nock Kelch; brother, Raymond and sister, Josephine Mygatt. Jim is survived by his loving wife, Tommae Lu Kelch; children, Dr. Walter L. (Tina) Kelch, Dave L. (Maggi) Kelch, James F. (Paula) Kelch Jr.; grandchildren, Meredith, Tyler, Zach, Sean, Angie, and Matthew. Family will receive friends at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL 1740 Zollinger Rd. Thursday, December 22, 2011 from 5 p.m. until time of memorial service at 6 p.m.
