

James Allen Levisay, Jr., age 65 of Pataskala, passed away unexpectedly, Saturday, October 26, 2013. James was born and raised in Columbus, son of Eulalia "Sis" Levisay and the late James Levisay, Sr. Also preceded in death by brother, Jerry Levisay. Following school, James enlisted in the U.S. Army where he proudly served during Vietnam. James was a caring and loving man who always told it like it was. He enjoyed fishing, camping and football, especially the Miami Dolphins, but most of all, James loved being a grandfather and spending time with his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by his beloved wife 23 years, Deborah Levisay; children, John Thornton, David (Michele) Levisay and Tami (Ken) Schultz; grandchildren, John, Stefanie, Jennifer, Dominic, Samantha, Nate, Paige and Trevor; mother, Sis Levisay; siblings, Joseph (Kirsten) Levisay and Marsha (David) Claar; close companion, Chance; and many other extended family members and dear friends. Funeral services will be held at 7 P.M. Thursday, October 31, 2013 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., where family will receive friends from 4 P.M. until time of service.
