James Wesley Milam, 84, of Columbus, joined his wife, Macie in Heaven on Friday, May 9, 2014. He was born August 26, 1929 in Ethel, West Virginia to the late Emanuel and Martha Milam. He was a proud U.S. Army Veteran who served his country in the Korean Conflict. James retired from Columbus Auto Parts. He enjoyed music, woodworking, and tending to his flower garden. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, of 43 years, Macie Milam; 4 brothers and 4 sisters. James is survived by his special friends, Virgil Chapman and Marlene Chapman; sister-in-law, Virginia Milam; and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held 1pm Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at Fernwood Cemetery, 460 Rowe Rd., Lockbourne, OH 43137. Arrangements entrusted to the SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY CHAPEL.
