James Randal Stokley

James Randal Stokley, 85, of Westerville, passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2017. He was born on May 6, 1932 in Hamilton, Ohio to the late James Frank and Hettie Barker Stokley. He was a proud US Navy veteran of the Korean War. He was a retired engineer from Ohio Steel. Jim enjoyed playing golf and baseball. He was a lifelong fan of the Cincinnati Reds. He was a longtime member of Northeast and North Park Churches of Christ, where he served as a Bible School teacher and a Deacon. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Bill, Leonard, and Ronnie Stokley, and Bob Barker. He is survived by his loving wife Dolly Stokley of 62 years; children, Randy (Jennie) Stokley, Rhonda Stokley, and René (Mark) Shier; grandchildren, Megan Harrington, Shane Harrington, and Jake Shier; as well as many nieces, nephews and beloved friends. A visitation will be held on Sunday, November 12, 2017 from 2-3pm at North Park Church of Christ, 4938 Westerville Rd, Columbus, OH 43231 where a memorial service will follow at 3pm.
