

Jane Gerlach, age 88, passed away on April 13, 2025 at the Forum at Knightsbridge. She was preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Bonnie Jean (Martin) McCullough and her brother Robert McCullough. Jane is survived by her sister Joan Markwood (Phil), children James, Scott (Kyle), Andrew (Christy), Robert (Susan) and Jill Payne (Stacey). Jane was born June 23, 1936 and lived her entire life in Upper Arlington, Ohio.
She was a member of the Upper Arlington High School class of 1954 and bled black and gold. She loved gardening, horses and dogs almost as much as her 14 grandchildren and 14+ great grandchildren. The grandchildren have many fond memories of trips with Grandma Jane around central Ohio in the “Momvan.” Jane never met a stranger and provided help and friendship to many people in need. Jane had a fiery personality and enjoyed a spicy Bloody Mary. She was religious and a member of the former Lane Avenue Baptist Church and later Grace Brethren Church. She was a long time member of the charity TWIG 102.
Visitation will be held on Thursday April 17, 2025 from 4-6 PM at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST, 1740 Zollinger Road, Upper Arlington, Ohio 43221. A private graveside service will be held at Union Cemetery.
