Born January 4, 1917 in Pickaway County, Jane was the daughter of the late Frederick and Lucretia Lamb. She retired from Pickaway County Welfare Department. Jane was a member of Community United Methodist Church, PERI chapter 41, Public Employees Retirees of Ohio, and Pickaway County Senior Center. She is preceded in death by her husband Glyn E Hoover, her son James (Brenda) Hoover, her daughter Penny Dietrich, her brother Neil Lamb, and her sisters Martha Barbee and Faye Lamb, as well as her sister-in-law Ruth lamb and brother-in-law Richard Barbee. Jane is survived by her son Frederick (Sharon) Hoover. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren and several great grandchildren, as well as nephews, nieces, and many friends. Arrangements have been entrusted to Defenbaugh-Wise-Schoedinger Funeral home.
