Jason had a deep love for sports, and you could often find him cheering on his favorite teams — the Cleveland Browns, the Cleveland Guardians, and the OSU Buckeyes. He enjoyed dancing and listening to music, especially his beloved ’80s hits and gospel songs. A man of strong faith, Jason loved the Lord wholeheartedly and knew the Bible from front to back.
He was an avid reader who looked forward to the weekend edition of USA Today, and he found joy in keeping up with the news. Above all, Jason cherished his family and treasured every moment spent with them. His bright spirit, warm presence, and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
He was preceded in death by his dad, John Robert Cook. He is survived by loving mom, Joanne Cook, siblings; John A. Cook, Veronica (Steven) Daw, Joseph C. Cook, Emily S. Cook, Anne Cook, Julie Rose Cook and Stanley Cook, nieces; Rachel (Jake), Rebekah (Carey) Sarah, and Annette, nephews; David (Sangeeta), Trip and Benjiman, and great niece, Eleanor wren, along with many other dear family and friends.
Family will receive friends Tuesday, November 25, 2025, from 10AM-12PM at SCHOEDINGER EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5360 E. LIVINGSTON AVE, with a funeral service to follow at 12PM and burial at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery. Please share a memory or send condolences to Jason’s family.
