

Jean A. (Finger) Folk, age 82, passed away on Sunday, August 15, 2010. She was born in Columbus on May 23, 1928, to the late John and Goldie Finger. She was a graduate of Bexley High School, and she worked for several organizations, including Nationwide Insurance and Columbus City Schools. She loved gardening and making flower arrangements, as well as other arts and crafts. She greatly enjoyed going to garage sales and was an avid collector. She was also a member of the Sundowners Square Dance Group for 10 years. Jean is survived by her husband of 61 years, William Folk; sons, David (Linda) Folk, and Larry (Judy) Folk; sisters, Donna (Dale) Thompson, and Alice (Kirby) Bristow; 4 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; one niece; one nephew; and numerous cousins. Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, August 18, 2010, at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 E. Johnstown Road, Gahanna.
