Jeffrey Lawrence Brown

Jeffrey Lawrence Brown died in his home on March 27, 2015, in Columbus, Ohio. He was 67. Jeff was born on August 1, 1947 in Montclair, NJ, to parents Frederick and Sylvia Brown (nee McKay). He was a graduate of The Ohio State University with a degree in Philosophy. Jeff was a custom home builder in Columbus in the 1970's. Following that, he worked as a large-scale estimator for several construction companies, taking him throughout the United States from Ohio to Texas, Indiana, Florida, Kentucky, and Virginia, and around the globe to Libya. Upon retirement, he returned to Columbus, where he spent his remaining days. Jeff enjoyed traveling, scuba diving, boating on Lake Erie, listening to live music, and reading. Most especially, Jeff looked forward to spending time with his children and grandchildren. Jeff is survived by his children, son, Ian (Emilie) Brown of Worthington, OH; daughter, Jessica (Marc) Morgan of Chantilly, VA; and son, Morgan (Krystle) Brown of Los Angeles, CA.; his sister, Leslie (Robert Greene) Brown, of Spring Mills, PA, and his five grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Frederick and Sylvia Brown, and his brother, Peter Brown. Private family services.
