Jeffrey Louis Mix

Jeffrey "Jeffro" Louis Mix, age 68, of Vermontville, MI passed away on June 3, 2016, in Columbus, OH with family by his side. Jeff was born in Chicago, IL on September 20, 1947, to the late Louis and Eva (Shereyk) Mix. He is also preceded in death by brother, Terrance "Tate". Jeff will be greatly missed by his loving children, Maria (David) Barnes, Jeff (Amanda) Mix, Renee Mix (Tim Attrell) and Lisa (Jon) Young; grandchildren, Skylar, Nathan, and Stella; brother, Kevin (Linda) Mix; Sister, Vicki (Ron) Dean; nephews, Jason (Nicole) and family, Aaron, Nathan and Stephen; along with many other family and friends. He was a 1966 graduate of Maple Valley High School in Vermontville. Jeff was a proud Veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He retired after 30 years of dedicated service with the United Association of Plumbers and Pipefitter Local Union 189. Jeff will be forever remembered as a very generous and humble man who was the life of the party. Having a passion for music he enjoyed playing bass guitar and the sax. Jeff was not only a father to his children but a wonderful friend. Friends may call on Friday, June 10, 2016 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. with a rosary service at 7:30 p.m. at Pray Funeral Home, 401 W. Seminary Street, Charlotte, MI 48813. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 807 St. Marys Blvd, Charlotte, MI 48813. Fr.
