Jessica Lyons

Age 83, of Springfield, Ohio passed away peacefully Monday, January 31, 2022, with her family by her side. Jessica was born on August 29, 1938, in Columbus, Ohio to the late Hugh B. and Jessie A. Smith. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Jack E. Lyons. Jessica is survived by her daughter, Cheryl L. Meyer; son-in-law, Mark K. Meyer; granddaughter, Brittany A. Marcellino (Samuel); great granddaughter, Francesca; grandson, Josh D. (Katie) and great grandson, Elias. Jessica attended Upper Arlington High School and Greenbrier Junior College in West Virginia. She was a member of First Community Church where she was a guild member and active in the choir. Jessica had a love for animals, especially dogs, always having a dog nearby. She was also an Ohio State Buckeye fan and always rooted the Buckeye football team onto victory. Family has entrusted SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST with a memorial service at Union Cemetery, 3349 Olentangy River Rd. Saturday, June 11, 2022 at 11 :00 a.m. in Columbus, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Columbus Humane Society in Jessica's name.
