Jessica Sue Saunders

Jessica Sue (Bolyard) Saunders, age 31, of New Albany, died Wednesday, April 15th at her home following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born May 23, 1983 in Chillicothe, Ohio; was a 2001 graduate of Chillicothe High School and received a Bachelor's degree from Ohio University. Jessica was a preschool teacher at New Albany Jewish Community Center. She was married on October 5th, 2013 to Kyle Saunders, who survives her. Also survived by her son, Dalton Wesley; parents, Harry and Deb Bolyard, of Chillicothe, OH; brothers, MSgt. Jason Bolyard, USMC, Hubert, NC and Justin (Jen) Bolyard, US Army, Ret., Phenix City, AL; maternal grandfather, Glenn Woods; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Steve and Debbie Saunders, Croton, OH; sister-in-law, Katrina Saunders, Danville, OH; pawpaw Jim Schrienk; six nephews and one niece; "best friends", Jessica Manson Carter, Tiffany Reed Etling, Danielle Lurty Graves and Mandy Gray Weeks; aunts, uncles, cousins and many close friends and her students. She was preceded in death by her sister, Billie Jo Bolyard Unger; maternal grandmother Mary Sue Woods; paternal grandparents, Wilbert and Elaine Bolyard and "mawmaw" Betty Schrienk. Jessica will be remembered by all with her big smile and the love for her family and friends. She loved taking Dalton and her family to many zoos, the Wilds, on nature walks, was an avid reader and loved fishing.
