I'm Celia Hay.  Jo Anne was my maid of honor in my wedding 3/4/56 I was unaware Jo had passed when my Christmas card was returned.  I had her last address.  She was one great gal.  Sorry I'm late .  I just didn't know.  I reside in Arvada Colo.  A 'burb" outside of Denver.  Bless you all.

I had the pleasure of knowing Jo through the Ohio Federation of Mothers of Twins club.  I always looked forward to seeing Jo at our conventions and board meetings.  She always had a smile and such kind words to say.  Throughout the years, Jo encouraged me and let me know that she was happy that I was active on the OFMOTC board.  In 2012 when I was installed as President of OFMOTC, Jo was a huge support.  She gave me advice and sent me many notes.  I loved any advice that she was willing to share because she was so respected and loved by our organization.  I am so saddened to hear of her passing but very grateful that I could call her friend.  My prayers continue to be with her family, she will be missed by so many and always will be a part of OFMOTC!

Jo will be greatly missed at Willow Brook at Delaware Run.  It was a privilege to have known Jo.  She was an important part of our "Touching Little Lives" group having long been a dedicated member of this organization serving preemies and low income infants in Ohio.  Jo served in many ways, making contributions to activities to serve residents in our retirement village.  We are grateful to have had her share her talents and caring, thoughtful manner for her time at Delaware Run.  Nancy and Chuck Townley

Dear Skipton family, Jo has been a joy to know here at Delaware Run of Willow Brook. Her many talents were enjoyed by all as she shared her beautiful cross-stitched Santa's in our Christmas display and appreciated her organization of a once a month "Hospitalitea" for all the residents. The "tea" was a wonderful display of her many creative talents. 
    Most of all She was a wonderful role model for dealing with the last few years of her many physical problems and learning to live in her wheelchair. A determined, independent lady and always with a cheery word and smile. Truly a treasure to know and admire.  Grace Lang

I knew Jo for over 30 years through Ohio Federation of Mothers of Twins Clubs, Inc. She was one special woman. She had so much to offer the organization.and I am pleased that I could also call her a dear friend. She was loved and will be missed.

I did not know JoAnne but many of the OFMOTC Mom's talked very highly of her and all she did for our Club.  Thank You for sharing her with OFMOTC

Jo was such an integral part of Ohio Federation of Mothers of Twins Clubs Inc. for so many years, not only as State President (and all the other jobs she held over the years), but also in her capacity as mentor to me and many, many others as we endeavored to follow in her footsteps. As a close personal friend to Todd, I have a few memories of Mrs. Skipton that I look back fondly on. 
Two stand out right away:  Seeing Mr. & Mrs Skipton proudly doning their "Bob Evans" Square dance costumes on their way out for a fun night dancing.
2nd was having a very distraught look and concern about her, letting all of Todd's groomsmen know (myself included) at Todd & Bobbye's wedding that "we were not wearing the right shirts"  Bless her heart, Todd & Bobbye loved the "wrong" shirts it was a highlight of the evening, and by many in attendance.
The last memory was not terribly enjoyable when it occurred, and I'm sure it was embarrassing for Todd:  Getting thoroughly lectured on every reason to be properly prepared riding my motorcycle by wearing a helmet at all times. Not just a simple "put your helmet on", but of full on 15 to 20 minute schooling. 
It just goes to show how much she really cared, and it wasn't until years later that I fully appreciate this.

The world would be a much better place with more persons that truly care as Mrs. Skipton did. She touched many, and will be missed.
