

John Oliver (Jack) Clayton, 77 of Reynoldsburg, died Wednesday, December 26, 2012. He was born October 22, 1935 in Airdrie, Alberta, Canada to the late Loren Edward and Margaret (Reid) Clayton. He received an Associate Degree in Engineering and was invited to the United States by Brun Sensor Systems, where he became Engineering Manager, followed by Industrial Nucleonics and finally retiring from IDT in 1997. He attended Our Lady of Miraculous Medal Church and was a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Incorporated. He enjoyed gardening, canning, being a handyman and traveling, especially to the Caribbean. He is survived by Barbara (Parker) Clayton, his wife of 16 years, two children Cameron (Lena) Clayton and Jennifer Clayton (Gary Scheeler), brother Harold Clayton of Airdrie, Alberta, Canada, three step-children Dan (Cari) Parker, Tom (Cami) Parker and Lydia (Matthew) Martin, sixteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A Prayer/ Memorial Service will begin 4PM Sunday with visitation to follow until 7pm at SCHOEDINGER EAST CHAPEL, 5360 E. Livingston Ave. Graveside services will be held Monday, December 31, 2012 at 11AM, procession to leave the funeral home at 10:30 AM to St. Joseph Cemetery.
