

John Palmer Duncan, age 90, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, June 30, 2012 at his home. He was born in Greenfield, Ohio on October 4, 1921 to the late Robert A. and Martha A. (Palmer) Duncan. He served in the Army Air Corp in WWII and was a retired Truck Driver for Commercial Motor Freight of Indiana. He was a lifelong member of Indianola Presbyterian Church (Deacon and Elder) and was a Scoutmaster for Boy Scout troop 46. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by son, Robert Duncan; and sister, Roberta Hutchison. John is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Patricia Duncan; sons, James (Theresa) Duncan, Gerald (Tonia) Duncan, and Richard (Tanya) Duncan; daughters, Linda (Nick Panzone) Chafin, Lori (Chuck) Jaquier, and Janet (Kevin Black) Duncan; in-laws, Betty Boehm and James Hutchison; 15 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call on Thursday, July 5, 2012 from 6:00PM-8:00PM at the SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL 5554 Karl RD. where the funeral service will be held on Friday, July 6, 2012 at 10:00AM.
