John Gesner

Survived by loving wife Sherry; son, Matthew; daughter, Mary; step-children Shannon (Ryan) Granata and Chris Trusler; sister, Betsy (Greg) Sopko; devoted caregiver, Cate Rinehart; and a host of loving relatives and friends.

Preceded by his parents, J. Holland and Elizabeth Gesner; and an infant brother John Holland Jr.

John was a U.S Navy Veteran, 4th degree Knight of Columbus, Graduate of Ohio Dominican University with a Bachelors in Business Administration, and 24 year employee of OhioHealth.

Family will receive friends from 5-8pm on Friday February 2, 2018 at the Schoedinger Northeast Chapel, 1051 E. Johnstown Road Gahanna, Ohio 43230. A Memorial mass will be held on Saturday February 3, 2018 at 10am at St. Catharine Church, 200 S. Gould Road Bexley, Ohio 43209.
