John C. Hohman

John C. Hohman, age 78, passed away on Friday, September 23, 2016 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born March 20, 1938 to late John "Jack" and Leona (Rauch) Hohman in Cincinnati, Ohio. John was a 1956 graduate of Elder High School in Cincinnati. He then met and married the love of his life, Bea (Keck) Hohman on July 22, 1957. He retired from Associates Financial Services after 42 dedicated years of service. John was a 46 year member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church. He was an avid golfer where he played loyally at Pine Hills for over 30 years. John and Bea enjoyed travelling to Cocoa Beach, Florida every year where he loved to fish and golf. Along with his parents, John is preceded in death by his brother, Tom Hohman. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Bea Hohman; devoted children, Lynn (Frank) Morabito, John (Kathleen), Joe and Jim (Karen Hammer) Hohman; grandchildren, Frank (Maya) and Scott Morabito, Tyler, Kirsten and Jenna Hohman; sister-in-law, Grace Hohman; along with many nieces, nephews, friends, golf buddies and all the neighborhood dogs he gladly gave treats. Family will receive friends, Friday, September 30, 2016 from 5-8 p.m. at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Road. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday, October 1, 2016 at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, 6077 Sharon Woods Blvd. Fr. Charles Cotton, Celebrant. Inurnment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Lewis Center. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to OhioHealth Hospice, 180 E. Broad St. 31st Floor, Columbus, Ohio 43215.
