John William Russell III, age 56, passed away after a long illness at home on Wednesday, April 13, 2022. John was born on October 31, 1965 in Columbus, Ohio to John William Jr. and Genevieve S. (Northrop) Russell. John was a free spirit. He had a creative side to him as he played the drums, was a painter and a tattoo artist. John was an avid Ohio State Fan and loved watching football. Survived by his parents, John and Jenny Russell; children, Jonna (Devin) and Nick; grandchildren, Daniel and Allison; and brother, Chris (Jennifer) Russell; nieces, Jodi & Cecilia and nephews, Patrick & Gage. Per John’s requests, there will be no service and cremation will take place.
