John Davis Stegman

John D. Stegman, age 80 of Columbus, passed away Monday, December 14, 2015. John was born and raised in Peru, Indiana, son of the late John and Mildred Stegman. Also preceded in death by his brother, Samuel Stegman. John was a Naval Officer, held Market and General Management Manager Positions in industry, and after earning a Ph.D., taught MBA candidates in OSU's Fisher College of Business. He is a member of Broad Street Presbyterian Church, Columbus Rotary Club, The Army Navy Club in Washington, D.C., The Columbus Maennerchor, and the Faculty Club at The Ohio State University. He was local, state, and region (Ohio, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware) President of the Navy League of the U.S. He was also the National Chairman of the U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps. He will be greatly missed by his daughters, Pamela (Doug) Boes of Nebraska City, Nebraska and Angela (Matthew) Smith of Worthington, Ohio; 6 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and many other extended family members and dear friends. A memorial service will be held at 10 A.M., Saturday, January 9, 2016 at Broad St Presbyterian Church, 760 E.
