

Joseph William "Bill" Mundy, 75, passed away Monday, March 14, 2022. He was born June 21, 1946 in Matewan, West Virginia to the late Jessie and Iva (Musick) Mundy. He was a proud U.S. Navy veteran. Bill retired as a professor from Columbus State Community College where he taught accounting for 35 years. He was a 40 year member of Freemasonry and was currently a member at Triangle Lodge No. 748 F&AM. Bill was a Scouter with Troop 275 and a counselor for the Citizenship Merit Badges. He was a lifelong Big Brother and friend to Dirk Smith. Bill enjoyed teaching, traveling, reading, golfing, and photography. He was an avid Ohio State football and basketball fan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Lucille Hatfield and Ann Hatfield. Bill is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Barb Mundy; son, Dave Mundy; nephews, Ken (Valice) Hatfield and Rick (Robin) Hatfield; great-nieces, Kendra (Aaron) Eshbaugh, Kristina (Drew) Keaton, and Darcy (Cory) Leger; great-nephew, Andy J (Jessica) Hatfield; cousin to Barb, Joyce Reed; and many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Monday, March 21, 2022 at Schoedinger Grove City, 4242 Hoover Rd., (HOOVER RD AT KINGSTON AVE), Grove City with a 7:45 p.m. Masonic Service. Funeral Service will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Schoedinger Grove City. Interment Grove City Cemetery West.
