Joseph Paul Simon

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our brother, Joseph P. Simon Jr. God called Joey home February 2, 2019. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Sr. and Mary Simon; and his dear friend Sue McMillen. He is survived by his siblings, Mary Jo (Paul) Buckley, Madeline (Ed) Oakley, Paulette (Jim) Rector, Suzanne Rogers, and George T. (Bernadette) Simon; and will be deeply missed by his nieces and nephews.

Joe enjoyed life, he loved camping with family and friends. He will always be remembered for his selfless love and compassion. Joe loved his family unconditionally and his heart of gold will forever shine bright.

Family will receive friends from 6-8pm on Wednesday February 6, 2019 at the Schoedinger Northeast Chapel, 1051 E. Johnstown Road, Gahanna, Ohio 43230; were a rosary service will begin at 7:45pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11am on Thursday February 7, 2019, at St. Matthew the Apostle Church, 807 Havens Corners Rd, Gahanna, OH 43230.
