Josephine Ciastko

Josephine Ciastko, 79, of Galena formerly of Long Island, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday October 5, 2017. She was a faithful member of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, Hicksville, Long Island before moving to Galena, Ohio and attending St. Michael Catholic Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, Arturo and Salvadora; siblings, Evangeline and William. She is survived by her loving husband of 60yrs, Joseph; daughters, Allison (Chris) Favo and Christine (Joe) Zaremba; grandchildren, Sarah, Brendan, Patrick, Mary and Jamie Favo, Gabrielle, Matthew, Katie, Amelia and MaryGrace Zaremba; brother, Walter Meneses; sister, Brunie Levy; many loving nieces, nephews and lifelong friends. Friends may call Sunday 2-5pm at the SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL 6699 N. High St. (1/2 mile south of 270). A mass of Christian burial will be held Monday 10:00am at ST.MICHAEL CATHOLIC CHURCH 5750 N. High Street Worthington, Ohio. Fr. Anthony Dinovo Celebrant.
