Joyce Berry

Joyce Berry, age 78, passed away and went to be with the Lord, Saturday, October 23, 2021. She was born June 22, 1943, in Ardie, WV to the late Kenneth and Odessie Long. Joyce is survived by her children; Rick Berry, Scot Berry, Brian Berry, and Tammy Pruden, siblings; Bethel Bentley, Brenda Berner, James Long, Kenny Long and Steve Long, grandchildren; Amanda, Samantha, Shana, Devon, Brittney, Johnnie, Roman, Kara, and Michael, numerous great grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews and other dear family and friends. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by, her ex-husband, Michael Berry, son, Thomas Berry, and brother, Tom Long. Joyce was a very kind and classy woman. She loved the way she dressed, having an extensive shoe and purse collection, some even referred to her as a queen. She loved spending time with her family and getting to see all of her grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Joyce enjoyed going to Vegas or singing karaoke, where her go to song was "Crazy" by Patsy Kline. Joyce always had a sweet tooth and LOVED fruitcake and ice cream (any flavor). She was a bright presence in people's lives and will be missed deeply. Family will receive friends Friday, October 29, 2021, from 11AM-1PM following a Funeral Service at 1PM at SCHOEDINGER EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5360 E Livingston, Columbus, OH 43232, with entombment at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Please share a special memory or send condolences to Joyce's family.
