Joyce Louise Hollinger

Joyce Louise Hollinger, age 74, of Worthington, passed away peacefully Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at her home. Born in Columbus, Ohio, and a 1956 graduate of Gahanna Lincoln High School, she was preceded in death by her parents, Philip and Ruth (Pat) and her sister Dorothy. She will be dearly missed by her husband of 57 years, Carl Robert Hollinger; sons and daughters-in-law, Kent and Barbara Hollinger, of Vienna, VA and Chris and Kristen Hollinger, of Hilliard, OH; beloved grandchildren, Robin, Carl, Reid and Grant Hollinger; other relatives and many friends.

Joyce was always socially active, spending time with friends and family. She was a long time student of the Stella Becker School of Dancing, an avid bowler with the Worthington Hills Women’s Bowling League, a member of the New Neighbors League of Columbus, and a devoted volunteer with the Pat Tiberi Congressional Campaign. Joyce loved spending time with her grandchildren and was a fanatical fan of the Ohio State Football team.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held later in the Spring, with time and place to be announced later. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Script Ohio Club P.O.
